Zoxc how much time and effort will you spend on the terrain editor? An 2d one or a complete recreation of the WE's 3d one?

I will not make it in 3D for the inital release atleast.

like if u added an action to the already pre-made blizzard has. i mean like in the Actions list, there is no Action thats a reset trigger for countdown timers or reset at all

i am not sure if this was said (i didn't read page 2 and 3), but u should add a way to convert .blp to .tga. and .tga to .blp . also, there should be a way to move units faster than just one at a time, that is SO annoying (units in meaning the whole unit editor).

also, there should be a away so that u can se e on the bodom of the screen how much space u have left for the map (max is 4mb). And a protector built in. also, a way to get back from JASS coding.

hmm lemme see...

a way to see the map as if it was in the game, for screen shots. Examples of complex triggers. such as save load, or non complex triggers, such as timers. that are preset. and a away to do a preset - ally all.

new idea, u know hwo ppl here post the code for triggers and such? there shoudl be a way for the program to regignize it, would save a ton of time.

Map protection detection? I hate it when a map doesn't have the words protected in its filename then when I go to open it, it is protected. Not sure if its possible but it would b awesome

Can you make it possible for the user to determin the order each 'trigger' (a GUI trigger, not jass object) have in the war3map.j file, or atleast make the triggers have the order they have in the trigger editor without needing to reload the editor?

And ofc a syntax checker that doesn't crash and does give the right error warnings ^^

how about check for trigger loops, (this was a problem for one of mymaps, i entered a region and the game stoped because the user was put in a never ending loop between 2 regions, but i am not sure it would be helpfull in all cases)

Also, can there be a way to put JASS back to the other format? that would help so that code here could be pated in JASS then shown there in a user-friendly format.

--i remember about the help cestion thing but maybe u can make a .chm . i have a few friends that could make some imgs if needed.

It would be cool if you were able to implement a save and load feature. I haven't delt with the workings of the save and load code.

is there a way to be able to make this so that people can add thier own features that are not included in the release (btws can the terrianing work the same way as the other world editer just that the terrian plate things should be able to show all of them.

What do you mean by unit editor? Object editor? You move units there? Oo

You can see the map how it would look in the game (I think it was V button, but I'm not sure, time passed since my last adventure with WE).

I will save the trigger in the order they apear in my editor. Also I might use PJASS for syntax checking.

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models.     Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
