Pursue an accounting course. Money is much easier there. But be sure to pass the CPA exam. Ayt! .. Besides, the only programming language you know is JASS. And JASS is not included in programing language list. It is only created for WC.

After reading the poll question, my thoughts are that you should take a English course. :p

It's all depending on your wants, I like computer related things so I'm taking Network Systems Administration. However, if accounting interests you more, take that. Even if one pays a bit more, if you don't enjoy it, it's going to be a bitch to work at for the rest of your life.

>>graphic design.

That's what I go to school for!

Well, first I'm taking print media, which has designing in it, but you also learn how to work things like a printing press, and how to develop files FOR print.

Its a pretty good course, very practical and useful. It also allows you to get jobs doing thing from designing to actual manufacturing, working on a press in a company, etc... Working a press can get a person from around 15-40+ an hour, it is unfortunately shift work because most big places run 24 hours.

As for graphic design, you need Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and start working with them yourself, and learn how they work. Makes your life much easier.

Graphic design isn't based solely on your ability to draw or make pictures with programs. you need to know different elements, make logo's interesting designs. The biggest hurtle you will face, without a doubt, is Font. Font/Text. Its the thing to make or break a piece and requires lots of work on, so unless you can stand sitting on a computer and tweaking something till it works (whcih could take an hour or two) then you may find it annoying :p

> i dont care about adobe and etc

In graphic design, PS, Illustrator etc are your life. You need them, as mentioned.

> how people make graphics and sell it?

Graphic design is not something about you drawing a picture and sell it, per se... =.=" Check out the course structure before you decide what you want. It involves more on designing websites, designing advertisements... etc. You need to be creative. Just look at TH website for example (not such a good example though). If you're a graphic designer, you'll probably need to consider the type of fonts, size, banner, buttons, links, arrangements of contents, probably a little on programming etc...

Don't let the 'design game' bullshit attract you. They're just... bullshit. Check out the industry in Malaysia. There are not many gaming companies there. There are a lot of other industry though, no doubt. More on web designing and advertising. And most companies have a marketting department, graphic design can be useful there. Make your own research at your area. You're still young. A lot can change in 8-10 years time.

also, i have a question, how can i get involve on iPhone industry?(not related to Art&Design)
i heard that iPhone industry has a potential on future
More to programming, I'd say.

really? i dont care about adobe and etc :)

how people make graphics and sell it?

You can either be a freelancer or work for a company/firm.

As a freelancer you find people who need a designer, and offer your services, you are your own boss, then they will tell you what they need, then you do it.

As a company or firm, they will tell you want they need and you do it.

If you do not use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator you will not get far. That's what's used in the design world. People don't design by hand, and if you do, you have to scan it and redo it in a design program.

You will never draw what you want and sell it.

You will only do what the customer wants. At the end of the day, your final design is what the customer asks for, not what you like.

If you like to draw rather than graphic designing, then go into art. Though... you need to be exceptional to get somewhere with that.

School... me too!

I'm currently attending a university and I can tell you the following:

MATH = MONEY

Now, this isn't an absolute, but, it's a great rule of thumb.

As for IT vs. Acct. I'm not terribly sure what you mean by IT.

At the university I'm at there is no IT degree. However, you can major in Computer Science or Engineering. I'm gonna go ahead assume that this is what your referring to.

Most computer science/engineering majors I've talked to actually began as accounting majors. I'm not really sure what this trend means but take it as you will.

As for accounting, it's a matter of will. Can you endure a lifetime of spread sheets in order to make hard dollars?

My advice, go with accounting, it has about ten fold the job opportunity as a degree in "IT" does. And, some of the jobs actually don't require spread sheets! Plus, most universities offer a MBA Acct degree program.

Focus on user interaction / usability. A lot of applications, including iPhone apps, need a person with that skill. And don't forget to look for internships. Job experience is extremely important (I'd say it's about as important as your academic performance).

Well, good luck!
