Converting save games to maps?

My friends and I are wondering if you can take a save game say from city scape and reload that for all of us to play, like if you could just do "Load Game" or turn the save game file into a map for usage, is that possible and if so how does one go about doing so?

I don't think so. You can't load a save file without the map itself.

You would need to store and restore the current game state. Please research what information is stored in savegames, where, and how. Probably it is possible to reconstruct/manipulate a save game file such that any player could join it as if he had been part of the initial game.
