You would have to turn off the pathing of the doodad, but then any units could just walk right through it. I think I know what you are talking about. If you use the correct variation of wall, you can get them to attach.
Well if you read what the original poster asked, he asked how to make it so he can thewalls line up next to each other, not stack walls. Holding down shift is the correct method for doing this.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
