The only reason why I'm being very selective atm. Not that I have a choice anyway :D But it'd be nice to find someone decent looking, that is not taken, who understands that one doesn't want to spend all their time with them ( you know, going to a concert with friends, "Mens" Evenings (you know, watching sports, chillin' and drinking beer), etc.).

And also, I hate f*cking Drama. I guess I speak for all male beings with this :p

I've been with my GF for around 3 months now, and it has been the happiest time of my life. I have had many college flings in the past, but no one I can hoenstly say I loved. I can see this relationship perpetuating into a marriage without even hesistating about thinking about it.

She's just fun to be around, I like guys nights... and with other girls I would want guy's nights to hang out with da boiz, but with this girl, she is my friend, and I like hanging out with her (don't get me wrong bro hang outs are still manditory, its just that it is fun to hang with her)

I'd hold off on considering marriage. I've had a couple of girls that I really liked a few months into the relationship but then after a certain time I'd just get bored, but I think this may just be a problem with me since it's happened with everyone I've ever been with. :nuts:

I don't get how that question relates, but the same thing happens to me for video games except after maybe 20-30 minutes I get really bored. :p (Unless it's a game I'm playing with friends and can have music playing in the background without it taking away from my pwning)

I'm not considering in asking her to marry me any time soon, just that I wouldn't be surprised if we do stick through and end up in a marriage. She's a good girl!

I've had one serious relationship, I was with her for 2 years. Then I dated a chick that lived with me for 6 months, and turned out to be a literal meth whore, and then I got fucked over by someone I met from my buddies at the beginning of this year, she almost fucked my friendship with a close friend over too.

Those are the three "relationships" I've been in, now I just hook up and enjoy life.

This also. Though my longest relationship wasn't quite that long. More along the lines of 6 months or so. Didn't end badly either. :p

You might wanna tell that to my friend. He's 20, she's 17, they've been together for all of three months. His last relationship lasted about 5 months then they split. Right now he's supposedly waiting 'till she's 18 in a few months, then... he'll pop the question. Not sure if it's because he genuinely loves her or if all the heroin and alcohol has finally addled his brains...
Wow. I know some screwed up people. Thankfully this is an anonymous enough forum...

I got 3 girlfriends in High School, didn't last very long.

I prefer the single way of life right now. ;)

It might change someday, though.

Btw, I met my current girlfriend online, which turned out to be the best. Honestly, it sounds lame, but you get to be friends before anything else, so you really get to know them. We chatted for 2 months before a first date, which went better than any first date with a random chick could ever go.

I suggest okcupid.com for any lonely men looking for a woman on TH!

I could never do the online dating thing, nothing personal to people who do. I love meeting people so I've always gone out to see people.

My last relationship was 2 years and we just weren't compatabile, we lived together with his whole family and everything. As for my current relationship, I've been with Seth for almost 3 years and we are engaged. We have our own apartment and do almost everything together.....

They're not even high school sweethearts, he met her because she went to my brother's school and... well... it's very long and complex but needless to say I seriously doubt it will last.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
