what the hell kind of time is this? i mean lol you post it in 2 in the morning? i want too stab my eyes out lol. (i wear contacts it gives pain after a while.)

We're up to comic #16, but I guess I forgot to post it here. Anyway, a lot's been going on with Goth's High, but the big news of today is the Christmas issue we just got up :)

Go check it out!

We're also soon going to start updating twice a week, with Project ABC popping up every Wednesday. We're talking of a Friday update day, but we're not sure when that'll start :p

Some other info is that Kraven is no longer the artist for the comic. I'm doing the art now, and Krys is still on Photoshop duty :p

Anyway, Merry Christmas from Goth's High! :)

D'you think you'll get this comic to a point where you'll publish it/start selling fan merchandise (sp?)? It seems to be going pretty strong :).

We have dreams. Plans? Eh, at the moment, not really. But we have dreams.

This season has been so crazy we had to take a vacation... Really think we're gonna have time for Merchandise and whatnot? :D

But beforehand, we were discussing the idea of t-shirts, print-out book versions of the comic... The shirts and such are easy enough. Iron-ons/blank shirts/time for ironing and ta da!

The only problem is we don't have a way to mass-produce iron-ons :D Nor do Krys or I have a lot of money to start this up as a marketable object... Hence jobs :D

First on the list, however, are things such as a printer/scanner for the comic (we have access to one, but we don't have one for ourselves) and a tablet for making the comic better.

The tablet may be sooner rather then later ;)

Comic #18 has come out! We've also introduced Project ABC and had 3 issues of it.

Sorry I haven't been updating this thread, I've been very busy lately :D

No, since I've been so busy, I haven't really had time to practice DRAWING with the tablet. I still use the pen as my mouse, but other than that, I don't do much tablet-work.

I will start, eventually :D

Visigoths were some kind of barbarian or viking. According to Krys, who knows lots of useless information o_O We just wanted a word with the word "goth" in it :D

Goth's High started in NJ, yes :) We all live there :p

Visigoth, to my knowledge, is not a town in this state, though :D

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
