I have never seen poetry with fullstops and sentences. This stuff is called prose.

Poetry has no rules in the English language. A prose is another form of poetry. But then again if we must get picky and debate for several hours this is a prose. I'll probably have this a hot topic just for calling this poetry. xD

Now settle children, literature is not math.

Basically, but then that wouldn't be in the bounds of a poem. You have to have a different style like some writers do. If you aren't very active in writing then you wouldn't understand what I mean.

Playing with styles of writing is fun.

The other one is freaky but not in as much a good way.
Still good though, even if more a conversation then poetry.
