JASS NewGen Pack 1.5d

When I hit "test map" I only get a Windows System32 message box and an error message that tells me that warcraft broke down, nothing more.
I always need to turn Jass newgen off to test the map, that's sort of annoying..

I got the latest version of both, warcraft3 tft and jassnewgen pack.. :mad:
 
What operating system are you using?

EDIT: Do I have a new rep bar? :eek:
 
I'm using windows xp, Home I think, if you mean this

I don't have the problem that I get back to the main menu, it simply does nothing except the error message and the WE remains open

I mean this problem: "When I use the test map button, Warcraft III will start but return to the main menu instead of loading a map?"

Funny: Now I used some vJass code and I have the same problem as described in the first post of the thread... directly to the startscreen of wc3 when trying to test-map. But saving the map before doesn't have any effect and no I don't do 'save-as'
 
I am able to use the newgen world editor but i can't start warcraft 3 testmap with it :S so i have to save my map and open the normal wc3 and make a game with the map to test it :(
 
Jass NewGen Pack wont work.

I also have great problems with JassNewGen since the patch. First like everyone else the Test Map Button won't work. But that's not my problem. Since the patch my maps in which i used vJass just won't work anymore. I can open them in the Editor and edit them without problems but if I try to actually play them the game crashes. There are two different errors: Sometimes the game crashes even if I just try to click on my map in the map selection window or I can select the map but I don't see the player selectionwindow in the corner of the screen. There is just an empty field but in this case I'm able to start use the start map button (still crashes in the loading screen). If I disable RTC test map just puts me in main screen of Wc3. (The rest remains the same).

I've already reinstalled Wc3 and JNGP 1.5 but it won't work. I also use WEU. Has anyone out there an idea how to solve this problem?

Edit: Actually all maps in which I used WEU Advanced Triggers just return me into the Map selection screen but don't crash the game. Btw the crash error mentions that somewhere my memory could not be read.

Edit2: I have downloaded a new version of JassHelper and now everything works fine again.

Did you run as administrator?
 
Missing Handles

Hey I've recently tried everything I could to get this working, uninstalling, reinstalling both this pack and war3, dling the latest versions of everything tin the pack, dling the new blizzard and common files, etc... My problem is that the pack doesn't register the new hashtable handles from war3 patch 1.24 I'll attach an example of what I mean for reference.

Anyone know of a fix to this?

Any help would be vastly appreciated.

I've got a problem with NewGen 1.5d. It doesn't start at all. Im using Windows Vista Basics and it when I click run as administrator, on the task manager it shows that worldedit.exe is running but the editor never starts up. Any help?

EDIT: It works but I can't find out how to disabel RTC for it to work. Help?
 
I have a problem.

Previously, using the JNGP, people were able to get maps of sizes bigger than 256x256, such as Dark Invasion II which is 480x480. This no longer works for me. Now there is a 65536 cell limit whenever I try to accept from the scenario menu with a map set to be bigger than 256x256. My current map I am working on is 352x352, and I am able to save it, however I want to make it bigger and also change other things in the scenario such as fog and skies, but I can't press OK or it tells me I am over the cell limit.

I have also tried modifying the txt files from the mpq for my purposes but I still can't get past the cell limit.

Have you enabled No Limits?
 
If its one of those tabs in NewGenEditor, then I don't have it and its not in the RTC folder either.
 
I tried reinstalling. The RTC tab isn't there. Maybe cause Vista screws it up when you download it and removed a file or something.

    We have some elderly guests that regularly come hang out at the bar at the end of the night, and every once in a while we don't see someone for a few weeks and then someone shows up with their obituary.
