Moving with a parabola?

How do I create and use parabolas/parabolic curves in wc3?
What I mean is, how do I find a parabola, and then use it to move a unit along the path?

I understand that they are like even curves from one point to another...right?

are you trying to move it on the xy plane or are you trying to move it up like a jump?
