Question on Custom Ability

Hi everyone,

I recently created a custom ability for a unit. Now I want the unit to use that ability by issueing it an order using triggers. However, I can't seem to find my ability to use in the list.

Is there anyway to make a unit use a custom ability by giving them orders using triggers?

Any help would be appreciated.

You are doing it the right way, but I would say you haven't given your ability a command. Go select your ability in the data editor, and then open up the Ability - Commands + property. The types of commands that are available to you will vary depending on the type of ability you are using, but for most cases you will just have 2: Execute and Cancel. In order to use a command, you must give it a default button. The name of the button will also be the name given to the command. Now if you search for your command in your trigger, you should be able to find it.
