Butter Baked Chicken

Homemade, simple and easy Butter Baked Chicken recipe that the whole family will enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 can evaporated milk (any size)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 13 x 9 pan for baking
  • Mixing bowl for wet ingredients
  • Container for milk to dip chicken into
  • Plate or container for flour and seasonings to coat the chicken
Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Pour some of the evaporated milk in a small dish - just enough to dip the chicken into
  • Pour the flour into a container and season with salt and pepper - mix
  • Dip each piece of chicken in the milk then roll it in the seasoned flour
  • Melt butter in 13×9 pan
  • Place the chicken in the pan with the melted butter
  • Bake the chicken in the melted butter for 30 minutes at 425 degrees
  • Mix water, can of soup, and what’s left in your can of evaporated milk together in the mixing bowl
  • Remove chicken from oven
  • Turn chicken over and pour soup mixture on top
  • Return to oven and bake for an additional 30 more minutes or until golden brown
