SCV 2.0 and Supply Depot 2.0

Hi, i am not able to solve my problem.

I want an SCV 2.0 (exat copy of the SCV but with one more buildig, able to build the SupplyDepot 2.0 which has a differend look and gives more supply)


what i did:
Copied the SCV. Set all settings, modified the build abilitie etc.

Still able to build all buildings etc.

then i did try two things:

#1 I added a fresh new unit, set the settings, added an actor. The unit was place able via editor.

i added the new building to the build abilitie, i added a button, i added it to the command card.

but, it does not appear in the builders building menu. still all other building are there.

#2 the second thing i did try was to fully copy the default supplydepot and set the correct modeland icon settings.

again placeable in the editor.

but does not appear in then build menu.



I searched forum, read tuts. What am i missing? whats wrong with it. How do u added custom buildings to a builder? a step by step tut would be nice, or just a solution u found out why i did not appear.

I think in this situation it'd be easier to solve if you attached your map!
(A lot easier to solve a problem when you see it, rather than being described it, especially cause I think a lot of people are better at fixing the problem by simply navigating through the data editor themselves because it's so complex, and then typing up a solution.)

Yeah id doublecheck the
Data/Abilities/SCV-Build(SCV) field

or in this case the same field as that only SCV 2
Data/Abilities/SCV2-build(SCV) field

under Info +
or have someone doublecheck it for ya just to make sure everythings in order.. maybe missed a field

Did you check the buildings the new SCV can build?

Ok, lol i solved the problem.
I made a new map to show my problem, did it right the way before. it worked ...

then redid it like i did before. works. :banghead:

i dont know what went wrong.
