Looks really cool!

Controls seemed as smooth as Warcraft 3 controls can be. I only tried with some very lazy computer controlled players, so I can't comment on how it is to actually play. I'd expect it to be hard to hit someone without the usual mouselock modern FPS'es tend to have.

After having killed two computer units, I went to kill myself near an exploding barrel. Then a voice cheered on me for going on killing spree. Obviously the same kill (self kill) ended that killing spree right away :p

When viewing the replay of the game I played, it was not possible to cycle through the players. It may have been because they were computer controlled. In any case I was locked to the unit I played.

I may be able to do the test, but I'm not sure because I have things that keep me busy. Post time and try to keep it to the weekend.:D

Edit: Please update link on first page and maybe put down the changes too.

oops, well bob I guess I should do something about the camera limit so people cant do that ^_^ as well as fix the kill spree on yourself... oops?

on a more related note, I think it will work best to schedule for this weekend most likely Saturday since it seems to be the best day but still need more people.

Ill test around with the replay feature and see if I can get it to do what I want. If it comes to it and replay only shows myself, I will just simply have everyone save their replay and send it to me. However, I am not very good at making videos though. 0_0

ah sorry i was way too busy this weekend, I guess whenever I have a saturday free ill post a time etc. i still havent had a whole lot of extra time to update the map further like the 2 new modes but I will be atleast tryign to add some thigns to make it a bit easier for people to understand how to play. I made this to replace the dancing screen.

On my side it's ok. I never got that power pack, forgot to pick one up. I'll most definitely get it by next weekend though.

Awww, no more Micheal Jackson? (at least it looks like its MJ) Oh well, controls are probably better to put on a loading screen.
Keep working on this great game or make a sequel!:thup:

Im guessing there are lots of tunnels in the cave map, so to get more "replayable" feeling over the map maybe there should be some random blocker rocks that blocks some tunnel in the map so the map wont be the same always. Just a suggestion.

^_^ neat, thanks andrewgosu... ive been gone a week for holiday and got home last night but i have finals etc going on the next 2 weeks so i probably wont be on much. ive already started on 1.20c which will have the two additional game modes but i really wont have time to work on it soon. Again, any suggestions just post them here and you never know I may use em. ah right, also you will be able to sprint by double tapping the forward key and grenades will throw further the higher you aim upward, and same goes for downward, just adds for more accuracy... grenade kills will be ALOT easier and more fun.

Looks like you continued my Duel Analog idea. :). Congrats man this is a work of art. Double tap sprint will be nice :). What would be nice is a double tap to leap backwards when in close combat. But I guess that sight problem was fixed when you added the strafe system. Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good stuff, except the tapped of WASD was annoying. (Although probably necesary as the arrow keys are in use.) I found the knife sometimes glitched up at points and wouldn't stab the target and my friends who I were playing with complained of the lag. But overall a really great map and great idea.

Making a map with alot of similarities to this one. There are major differences already (movement is better :p ) anyways. I read the words Open Source.I want everyone to know A: I post credits. B: Usually I have to rewrite 50% or more of the code myself to work it into my map. So C: I will use a few things form this map to better the one im working on.

Point? There is no point. Figured I would cover my rear end. I posted here. Author may object anytime and I'll remove whatever I re-use.

BTW you CAN move while in scope mode. Just imagine moving with a scoped view though! lol.

heh, i wish you all of luck in making use of the map, theres probably alot to be improved as well has rewrite in jass, im just too lazy to finish the map. maybe ill make a zombie survival map fps some time, I dunno. heh, i still havent uploaded the newest version that has quite a few improvements, i just never got around to finishing the version.

just a bit of heads up, focus on making the map fun and less complicated as sniping gets pretty boring fast when everyone is being one.

I like what you did here. I have ALOT to add to it. Already had started my own in december lol. didn't know about this.

Okay then I will be officially be merging the two maps together. (Will use your terrain, units etc. because I dont have much on that yet. Will add most of my triggers to yours. Will follow your advice and make it fun. (Read my thread)

*Every 10 minutes a sniper "god" will spawn killing everyone.(because he is bored ). Before the 10 minutes are up both teams map "bribe" the god to make him ally with them when he spawns BUT the god only allies to the highest "bribing" team. Also kills will count towards the bribe. (players killing or him killing makes no difference to him. It amuses him the same.) Everyone can see individual tributes to the sniper god. (may add something where the highest "bribing" player (not team) also gets immunity if he is on the losing team) (incentive for everyone that way. Even if you on the losing team)

Hey just wondering if you could send me or upload your latest map ( I know I know). You understand your code better than anyone else. So any changes improvements made since your last upload would be critical of saving me hours of headaches...

If possible and you have time do you mind just briefly explaining how you set up the game modes? ctf, elimination, etc.

Btw as noticed everyone starts a project and quits after "x" amount of time. :cool:

    Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.
