An enormous expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is finally on the way, and it's taken around a decade of development time to make.

Skyrim is truly the gift that keeps on giving, not just because Bethesda re-releases the thing whenever the wind is blowing in the right direction but because it’s got a massive community of modders on a mission to keep the game alive.

Some of these mods can be quality-of-life improvements, some can be silly reskins that turn dragons into Thomas The Tank Engine, and some can give players new options in the RPG, like marrying Serena, the vampire lady from the DLC. However, sometimes a mod rolls around that changes everything, and allows players to embark on an entirely new adventure with an original storyline.

I’m, of course, talking about expansion mods which often introduce a new area players can explore, complete with more characters, quests, and treasures to find. One such expansion mod is called Lordbound, and after around a decade of development, it’s finally on its way for PC players.
