i have regain of chaos, but i bought the battle chest so i also have frozen throne i havnt gotten around to insataling it yet. why will i need it for this?

A lot of maps use models/triggers/or other things that require the expansion.
There are many extra units and things in TFT, so install it, you may be surprised!
This is probably why u cant open the map, it has one of the TFT things in it.

i got choppers map to load, but when i tested it the "bad" terrain doesnt kill you???

The triggers aren't enabled, try enabling them.
