World of Warcraft - The Twisting Nether Is a map created by Me!
I know you rather see an own lore map, but the popularity of those maps isnt that great as wow maps.
What is this map about?
Well its a map based on World of Warcraft with my own twist.
Its a map made for 5/10 players and you will venture in the world of The Twisting Nether with a character/class.
Lore
This is about the homeworld of the Burning Legion.
You will face many strong demons, even our good friends Sargeras and Kil'jaeden.
This is ment to be a map that follows afther WoTLK
The Burning Legion is trying to revive their master, you must stop them.
You will need 9/11 key fragments from all dungeons to open the chamer.
Class Info
Well the wow classes are taken over, shaman warrior, they use the same skills.
Each Hero has 6 skills (2 Passive, 4 active).
It hasn't got an unique gameplay how ever.
Features:
- Healing, Spel Power and Attack power system:
This includes: Spells have certain values, e.g. Holy Light will heal for 200.
When the Paladin equips a "healing bonus" item it will heal for 250.
Same goes for attack power
- Tank/Healers are vital to this map.
- Save and Load (you will be able to save your hero!)
- You will see the amount of damage you done.
- Tier Sets for every class
- Camera will be changed to character view instead of the wc3 camera.
- Casting Bars
- Unique Scripted Boss fights
- Item Recipes
- In Combat System (afther the fight the bosses will regenerate Health, same goes for caster with mana so they don't have to take mana breaks)
- Legendary Weapons
- 9/11 dungeons with their own difficulties and gear recuirements
- lvl 20 heroes
- Armor system modified
- Strenght Agility and Intelect wont play a big role.
- PvP Mode
- Vendors
- Rep Factions
Additional Info
The First Release will contain the first 3 dungeons which will introduce the players into the game, this will be fairly easy. Each new Big Version will contain a new dungeon.
I do this so that people won't have the, omg the map is always the same effect + they will have time to gear up for the next dungeon, afther dungeon 4 the map will turn hardcore and you will need skill to play it.
This way noobs will still have a chance playing the game when they see it, and hardcore players will still feel interested.
There will be some legendary items to collect which will take long ^^, collecting items from bosses etc mobs.
And ofc when you defeat sargeras you get the, Dungeon Master Title or something.
Need a mapping partner
I am in a need of a mapping partner.
Recuirements:
- Need to know how to trigger spells/ trigger boss fights (Gui or jass, doesnt matter)
- Make propper abilities/tooltips
- Terrain propper
I can do it by myself (i have the skills) but I dont got all the time of the world ^^.
Feedback
Is always welcome, bad or good I will accept it and use it to improve my map.
The people make the map good, not the creator .
Critism is very good since it will only make the map better.
So anything you guys would suggest for this map? Systems Spells etc
Ill put up a class database later with skills etc.
