This looks like it doesn't support local texttags because the timer may be started on one machine and another another. Also, it seems to be a performance hog compared to regular texttags.
W/o support of local texttags, this is relatively useless. Also, it looks like this inherits the behavior of wc3 for destroying the texttags, which is a bad behavior.
