Hm... I think this would be more like it. But more towards advertising... Well, this is my opinion about TH, I made it in my spare time when I was digging coal and cutting weeds out by the prairie.

The Helper offers free technical support for computer games, computer hardware, and other computer software. Staffed by volunteer tech support workers, The Helper is highly regarded as a premium destination for those who are experiencing technical problems with their computers.

Thing is, TheHelper is the one that knows most of the historical information, that can take it out of 'advertising', such as how and when TheHelper was founded, by how, why, etc.

You should get yourself banned for that. And besides, April Fool's Day is over.

The Helper

The Helper is a popular site for helping mapmakers of Blizzard's popular game's, Warcraft 3, World Editor. It is based upon the knowledge of many many technicians with specialty of JASS, a object oriented scripting language for Warcraft 3.

That's the most I could do. Mass media coverage is due to Battle.Net referencing The Helper at one time, and it made a boom here. I think...if I'm not wrong. :p

^That is not an april fools joke.
You shouldn't really be talking since you yourself have also made several threads which were quite pointless.

TheHelper is meant to be a technical support site. I think that SD_Ryoko is a good friend of TH and is the how warcraft was introduced into this site.

Darn my words!! My bad. I guess I got used to being a strict, non-humoristic moderator at one forum for too long...

Just never mind about it, +rep to that person, just so that he might forgive me...

I would not count that as advertisement, more like "opportunities". :p

That's why I'm asking you that.

Would an article in Wikipedia suits most of our needs, or is it just unnecessary to do that?

It would only be good if I added the supporting history information to the website so it is corroborated. If you dont have a source for stuff you post in an article on Wikipedia it will just get removed.

Is it okay if the supporting historical information be released to the public for us to read? Either Members only or restricted members only, or can't be done?

It would have to be public, yes - so the article could link to the source at the bottom like the other proper Wikipedia entries do. If we had a Wikipedia article I would make sure that it was up to the standards of the Encyclopedia personally - footnoting all the information and adding to the history because of the site gets a page then the Blizzard MVP program needs one - and information on the original MVPs (Me, Dinobot, and T'kron)- because the Blizzard MVP program has been reactivated.

Not really, I think he once said that he was once labeled as the most valuable poster by Blizzard MVP program.

I don't think he's a mapmaker, since he hasn't posted a single map of his own since the founding of The Helper Forums.

EDIT:

Founding Fathers of The Helper, or The Foundations of The Helper, which is best used to suit the administrators?

I was MVP for the Blizzard Open Technical Support forum back in the Days of Diablo, Starcraft and Diablo 2. I also did tech for War3 but there were not as many issues at that point.
