Indeed it does.
It looks like you spammed the grass with a giant brush, then spammed the trees.
Though the fog is nice. :)

Anyways< ignoring your request :)
The models are strecthed... making it look bad. Thrall looks weird looking upwards.

Use PaintNet and get rid of the white, it's very easy.

You can use paint to get rid of the white.
To not produce borders when pasting an image, simply make the 'drawing box' very small by dragging the corner. Then when you paste, it'll be stretched to the correct size.

1. Purple checkered box? Press V to make it display in-game things.
2. Fog that looks like fog? Imported fog, terrain fog....

No offence, but it doesn't look really appealing, it looks like some blizzard terrain. Your start to terraining :)

some forest...

Good:
  • You've at least added some variation to terrain height.
  • Ground is not bare, but not covered in shrubs
  • You're not just using the trees as walls (as Blizzard usually does in melee maps)

Needs Improvement:
  • Trees are a little too scattered. No forest is that open.
  • Logs are kind of random, not at the edge of a group of trees (like one would expect).
  • Rocky area is also kind of strange. Either make it taller and make the rocks more prominent, or make it less rocky.
  • Terrain Variation at the top of the screen looks like you just used the noise tool on it. Try to make height-changes smoother, and go to higher/lower distances. A forest might have high cliffs and large hills, it isn't nearly flat everywhere. Deserts have dunes, forests have cliffs rivers and mountains.
  • Camera angle could probably use some work. There's no real 'focus' to the picture, try and focus the picture on something interesting, or extremely ordinary.

It was a lot better than my first terrains, I'll give you that. :)

Here's some of my screenshots from my cinematic. Its a mountian with a city on it and a forest surrounding it and there also is a cathedral beside it. Wraith, does look very good. Just some of them look empty but I think its great.

I am using Fogged Sky in that one. The fogged sky looks messed when using gray as a fog.

WraithSeeker, that is far too blue.
It looks ridiculous.

DVD, selection circles.
And there's little tile variation in some of the forests.
