Some seem rather fine. I don't really like Shadow Strike and ensnare though. Shadow Strike is good, but you could use something more Undead-ish. A simple name change is fine IMO. Ensnare doesn't really do much good, since it doesn't do anything if your units are melee (cough, Raiders, cough).
I dunno, maybe you could switch Critical Strike and Ensnare (so Blade Throwers can thrash stuff from far away). Its your choice though
Vex's map Optimzer got owned too, from what I know. It thrashed possibly half the maps in the internet. I just like it 'cos I can switch back to 1.23 and start playing older maps, and still be able to use the epic new features.
BTW, Castle Fight 1.10 was really good... I forgot when I last played it, but it was epic.
I'll send you my map concept via PM.
It takes me 1 month to plan a project, 2 weeks to decide whether to start it, 1 day to do random terraining, and probably another 6 months to actually do some tiny form of progress. It takes me another week to decide to give it up.
That was my previous project, which was rather normal a hero arena. I'm starting on a new, more original project. Hopefully, I'll get some form of progress by Sept 1st (I want to start a thread about it then, I started one of my most active threads on the same date last year).
Am I the only one, but I find Blizzard's new patch really useful 0_o Hashtables are epic.
Because HoN is literally, just taking it from Icefrog, they actually asked and stuff. It's 90% remake of DotA, like the spells are the same exact thing, just different models and effects obviously. Not that it's not fun, but it's more like a mini-game. LoL is like a real game by itself, they were just inspired from the AoS genre, but it has a lot of unique things. HoN's gonna cost $30 I think, but it comes with special stuff too. LoL, well, yeah that's a real game, so it'll cost.
I have an extra beta key if you'd like, but better hurry, the game's coming out soon, ^^
Only reason I'm playing HoN is because it's something fresh (like even diff terrains and models make it feel better, and they have like 2 or 3 custom heroes not from DotA)... and because it's FREE.
But I shall also play LoL hopefully when it comes out.
> but that is using JUST the object editor.... right? I mean, I am 100% sure that that was the case for the Uberlisck
I think only the Ultralisk one only used the data editor. The other ones, me thinks, used also something else.
No, I am not the original creator. He (mrchak) passed the map onto me over three years ago. What that makes me then is the real developer. If you're curious about the "before and after" then I'd tell you to compare 2.0 versus 4.1b.
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
@tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.
You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
