I must not have learned something about abilities because I have a pretty simple trigger that tells the caster of an ability to play an animation.
The animation works perfectly for one unit but when added to another unit with an ability based off the same stock ability, it casts the other spell, ignoring my command.
The spell has no editable ID so I didn't think overlapping abilities would apply to this problem. I tried using a spell with an editable ID but then the animation wouldn't play when triggered to do so.
Then I tried changing the Art - Animation to the animation I wanted and it would just loop or play a single time very quickly.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a reference someone can point me to?
