You want some help with testing? Have a (mostl) free week now so I have alot of time ^^. Also I 'heard' you writing about it ( ) and it sounds very intresting, since my friends is ladder players and rarly play customgames I need someone else to play with.
Tested the map in single player and as far as I can tell with such a small test it is a very well done map. It feels very proffesional. I like the -rm comand, sounds like a good idea.
But how do you revive?! I couldent find that Spirit Keeper or whatever the name was ^^'.
Yea I know that is rather newbie isnt it?
Come on guys, we have a worty challenger to CoD here! Lets test it...
When you die, a ghost will spawn in your position.
You have to move it to the Spirit Master, he is located in your base, and when you die there will be a flashy ping indicating where he is.
But now I am uploading a new version where the ghost will automatically go to him and revive.
By the way, I had to release a critical fix because the hero xp gain rate was crazy.
I made my own custom hero xp gain rate system because blizzards' rate is fucked up, if you got allied heroes near you, the xp gain will be smaller, so i made my own custom
Now it works perfectly and Im uploading the version with more tooltips.
Im now ready to submit it where you said, and ill do it just after the upload.
I do need testers, but, as for now, I am just playing it and in-game i am testing everything.
I worked on the map for over a year
It contains:
- 6v6 gameplay option
- Custom hero xp gain rate system
- 4 Jass enhanced abilities per hero at least.
- Every ability was worked hard on, as every hero was worked for at least 1 month. 12 Heroes per side total. 2 Sides - darkness and light.
- A rematch option, type -rm to remake the game without having to restart.
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
