You can't. However, you could make a dummy ability and then order a dummy to use the real ability.

No but im pretty sure most spells have a non-autocast version. Look through neutral hostile and you can find copies of alot of spells.

Setting an ability to autocast counts as an order. Just create a trigger that detects that order and order it to turn off the autocast. You can even go to the Object Editor and change all of the normal autocast text to blanks.
