So I bought this computer that came with Windows 7, but I want it to have Windows Vista, I have the Vista CD but I don't know how to change it without having 2 Windows on my computer. Is there a way to keep the files I have on Windows 7 right now and just change it to Windows Vista? Thanks.

This is the problem right here. I can tell you from experience that you do NOT want it to have Vista.
Anyway, if you are adamant, then what you need to do is this:
Put the Vista CD in and then boot into the BIOS. Change your boot priority to boot from the CD drive. Then save and exit and you should be able to follow the instructions on screen, making sure to format your hard drive in the process (this will wipe all data on the drive, so be warned!)

Dude, trust me. 7 is about 110% better than Vista.

there is only one reason that I miss vista.. win7 doesn't work with my TV tuner (ATI 600 PCI) - I need to keep vista to dual boot so I can use that - unless you also have a specific problem like that, there really is no reason to not use win7..

anyways everything else has already been said
