but the main thing, andrewgosu i hope you've got a reaaaally
cool theme, but because of that gui vs jass most people want to prove
what they can do with gui/jass (to pwn 'the others')
and the terrain and gameplay should be good,

And in a small map...

what theme matches those conditions?

TD; no too big /triggers = T.T /terrain = T.T
DotA like; depends /triggered spells? /terrain ?
Hero Arena; if you tighten in it may... /triggered spells / citycape T.T
Gladiator; good size /triggered spells? =D /alot of benches =.=

or the unknown andrewgosu theme...
i you dont have a theme yet, you'd better start thinking

Well he's wondering about that. If he moves it back, some people withdraw. If he doesn't some peopel withdraw. So, he's now thinking of delaying it, though I would still have to withdraw. I am gone until the 6th.

At this point, I think that you should see how many who withdraw if it isn't moved back, and how many would if it is. Don't include me in the balance between moving it back or not, I rather not make it harder for you to do your contest, which would be hard as it is, organising it and marking all the maps.

(So I still want to do it if it's move back, but I don't want others dropping out because it's moving back partially for me)

I say you keep it like it is, i don't think this will be the only mapping contest. If they can't meet the dates... oh well?

Anyway, if there are 15 or more contestants by the 13th of July, I'll change the beginning of the contest to 18th. Then, it would finish 21st of July.

Changing due-dates for a contest is bad.

But I gave my word.

Also, i don't understand why you don't have the contest run on a weekend from like Friday to Monday, more people are usually available on weekends.

Remember its a 3 day contest so i doubt it would be dota like, maybe hero arena and maybe gladiator, i can see the theme being TD or a maze or something else small but not DoTa like.

You might have to count me out, I was gonna reinstall Warcraft because of Bnet issues, but I couldn't find the CD Key (I have this box of jewel cases that have CD keys right, but figures my TFT case wasn't there!!!). So, I'm without TFT for a long time, I think it uninstalled RoC also for some reason O_O

Edit: What happens if you don't finish the map in time? what do you do?
