Creating Maps in 1.24b

Hey guys. Need help. I just have a problem.

When you create maps in v1.24b it just bombards you with errors when you try to save it, making it close the editor and give you a corrupted map.

That's why I create maps by switching to 1.20.

But, is there a guarantee that that map will work in v1.24b?? What if it turns out to be like the other maps that aren't compatible to play with in 1.24b?

What are the factors that make a map unable to play at v1.24b?

Do you use a PC or mac? If you're using a mac, be sure to download the 1.24c patch or use a scripts folder from the 1.23 patch. For whatever operation system you're using, try saving the maps in the WC3 folder rather than the desktop, that helped me a lot.

I use Windows Vista. 1.24b. I switch to 1.20 everytime I create a map.

You can't. Just download the newest warcraft patch and you should be good to do.

because your codes are probably old and they use the return bug.

find updates on the systems you use.

Same thing happens when I create a new map in 1.24b and try to save it.

When you save, there's popups saying "Trigger xxx has been disabled due to errors" and it continues on an on...

They aren't JASS triggers, just normal triggers.

But it works now with NewGen. Thanks a lot
