As you are probably aware, if you zoom out about 4000+, things will get alot darker. I ask, is there a way to prevent this?

I meant in-game I already knew the cntrl + scroll down. I'm talking about the natural dark fog.

I've already created a visibility modifier over the playable map area. So I dont think so.

Alternative 1:
Go to "Scenario --> Map Options".
Check "Use Terrain Fog".
Set "Z Start" and "Z End" to a value higher than the highest point your camera will go (like 10000) and click "Ok".

    • Time - Elapsed game time is 0.00 seconds
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • Environment - Set fog to style Linear, z-start 10000.00, z-end 10000.00, density 0.00 and color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%)
