Actually, no. If I could see, I'd be like "GO GO GO GO GO!!!!"

QFT. Im dead anyway, I dont care. As long as they are having fun.....

Come on guys, you'd boil these creatures, rip them apart, and eat them. Whats with the sudden resistance when we throw with them? Slaughtering these animals is done in at least such a cruel way. Truth is, people dont like to think about their own food and only start complaining if their fluffy friends are shown dead in the news. Thats hypocrit in my eyes, seriously.

Everyone who is thinking "Consider the feelings of the animals", is doing it wrong.
Everyone (including the spokesperson) comparing this to throwing their grandmother is doing it wrong. You're far more attached to your grandmother than you are to a rabbit.

Food? Well, don't forget that we'll die if we don't eat. I don't throw rabbits, and I'm still alive... It's the morals that throwing dead things around teaches, especially to young children.
Dead animals aren't toys. Animals are food. Children should play with toys. Children can't eat toys.

These children are throwing dead animals around for fun. It probably won't be long before this escalates (only slightly) to "Hey look; I caught a bunny. Let's throw this thing like we always do". This'd then continue to escalate until the children probably think that killing animals for fun (in a brutal way) is moral. Children who are made to throw (once) living creatures won't value life the way it should be valued.

Edit: I'd like to add that I'm not a vegetarian. But that's because I love plants. :p

People played with animals as toys for a looooooooooong time. And they didn't turn out so bad, did they? (This applies to everyone)

If I was a rabbit, I'd get SO pissed if I was killed just to get thrown around by little kids.

Why don't they just throw roadkilled animals? Or frozen chicken? I'm sure I'd understand if I was any of those two types.

Or even better, why not throw waterballoons instead? They're roughly the same weight I'd think.

This is the beginning of a humanitarism for animals....

If we looked at this tradition in the eyes of science, I could agree with everyone who's mad.

If we looked at this tradition in the eyes of morality, you could say the opposite of what you have in your mind.

I think when something is already dead, its the only time its right to be cruel to it because its never going to know or feel bad from it.

If you pay out some kid so much that he necks himself you'd be so upset, but if he necked himself and then you paid him out, none of it is your fault and hence, why feel bad?

:p That's my logic anyway :)

>So you're saying if you could pick her up and throw her, you would?...

Well, depends, if it is tradition...

EDIT:

It's also a tradition in some countries to circumcise little girls. I'm in no way comparing throwing rabbits to that, I'm just saying that tradition does not equal good :p
