I just put in a large-ish bid because that is one awesome NUON collection and I hate how these things just creep up until the last hour. I'm sure I'll be out bid eventually, but figured I'd give you a boost early on.

Blasted! He posted it here! Now it's definately going to go above my budget.
Hell I was wondering how come it had so many looks so early on.
On another note, theres a nice CD-I package on Ebay too, Ive got one of these, this is an awesome system if you can appreciate old worthless things lol and the homebrew scene seems to be picking up a bit for the CD-I.

Holy cow! that auction went beyond my expectations! I wonder why, could have been the box. The player did look to be in terrific shape with the blue sticker still on the front-right part of it. Still though I am very glad to see someone get rewarded well for their collection as was said earlier.

Im noticing auctions are going up real high these days, regardless of doomish recession people are talking about, that CD-I auction up above went higher than the $50 I payed a while back with around 30 games.

yea I think thats too much money for space invaders xl. I may be wrong. Most of the time it comes up it is generally under 40 bucks. I am not interested in paying for sealed cause I am going to open it as soon as it gets home would be pointless. thanks for the link tho

Well to give credit where credit is due, it is at least a fabulous example and most definitely a collector's item, a holy grail of Nuon collecting. I cant buy it though. Like you, I'll just open it up probably only play it for about 30 mins since I've played dozens of Invader clones and then put it away forever only appreciating it because it plays on a standard looking DVD player

Like you, I'll just open it up probably only play it for about 30 mins since I've played dozens of Invader clones and then put it away forever only appreciating it because it plays on a standard looking DVD player

I am the opposite. I wi prob play it a lot. I love space invaders. I'll just wait for an opened one. If i could get it between 45 and 50 I would consider it but not as the price is now.

There is this "buy it now" for a Nuon Toshiba player right now. It doesnt include the Tetris cd it originally came with (I've asked) but it is allegedly in fantastic shape.

You should get the Nuon Dome samples & games cd, quite a bang for the buck.That is, if you havent burned all the games in the download section. There are a few pretty interesting shooters on it, more enjoyable than Invaders if ya ask me.
