Goblin mine placement.

Is there any way, via triggers to just place a "set" goblin mine at a given point?

I know i could create a dummy unit. give them the item (or make it a hero ability) and then use the ability (seems round about).

Is there anyway to just place a "set" mine ready to go off at a known point?

The Goblin Land Mine can be found in Neutral Hostile campaign units.
