how to create Evasion with adjustable chance?

I want to create an ability like wc3 Evasion with a chance to evade
dependent on a hero attribute.

If there a way to do that?

I've examined the wright's Displacement Field ability that is just like Evasion
but I can't seem to find a way to change the chance to evade except
through the data editor.

there is an action in the triggers called "Set Catalog Value" that can change the data in the data editor for each player. i couldnt find the wraith evasion value very easily, so for an example i set the max health of the Tauren Space Marine unit to 1337.


Game - Map initialization
Local Variables
Conditions
Actions
Catalog - Set value of Units "TaurenSpaceMarine" "LifeMax" for player 1 to "1337"
Unit - Create 1 Tauren Space Marine for player 1 at (Center of (Entire map)) using default facing (No Options)


you have to fiddle around with the display buttons (i have all of them pressed) in the data editor for it to show the field names to you. after you find the wraith evasion value, which i hope you already have done because i couldnt find it right offhand, you can stick it in that trigger that updates the value every so often, or anytime that value would change such as when the hero levels up or picks up a stat changing item

Using the Catalog Field Value Set trigger action will probably
do the trick I just have to experiment with it a bit more (I managed to
change some values, others I couldn't).

About Wraith Evasion:
The wraith has a behavior named Displacement Field, that kicks in when
the wraith becomes cloaked. It is a behavior of type Buff and it has a
field named Combat - Damage Response+.

This field lets you determine what happens when the unit using this behavior
gets damaged. There is a sub-field called Combat - Damage Response - Chance
which allows you to set a chance how often the stuff you want to happen
when the unit is damaged will happen.

i saw the damage response, but i thought the campaign description for the ability was 50%, and the data entry in the field was .2 so i didnt think it was the right one
