Okie dokie... I'm in. I'll use some of my old icons, since they are pretty good and what the hell, they would fit nicely here. Oh yeah, I don't think it is necessary to ask but we receive credits for the icons, right? Sorry if this was asked before but hell, I'm too lazy to read 17 pages.

I've looked at the submitting thread, and I must say: NICE ICONS. Some of them there are really well done and the abilties are special.
Keep submitting and working hard on your icons people.

Looks like some of the advanced people showed up heh. In my opinion I see a 2 way tie right now. Creative abilities and icons everybody.

Oh yes, another thing, I hope you take into consideration the fact that the icons are made for WARCRAFT 3, and so, they should fit the warcraft style. I also hope shading counts. Nevertheless, these are only expectations and suppositions, nothing else.

And as for originality, does it count for both icon and spell or only for one of them?

And yes, sorry for so many stupid questions, I guess I'm trying to follow the judging as much as possible, but should the description be ingame or a description so that you can get the idea of the spell?

Moreover, you said pack, but you didn't mention if the abilities are going to be used for the same hero or not (atleast not in the rules). And also, you didn't mention that three abilities should be normal, one innate and one ultimate. These stuff I saw only across the thread but they should have appeared into the rules. I did not see them when I joined the contest, and if they don't appear into the rules, you should add them (though it's kinda late IMO ) if you want to judge based on them.

you dont need to make an innate, 3 spells and an ultimate. thats just how they've chosen to make there icons and descriptions. in fact the abilities are not for a specific hero nor are they going to be learned in the usual way. i intend using spellbook items and when the hero uses the item he gains the spellbook as an ability. the abilities availible inside the spellbook will be related to the heroes level; so a low level hero would only have 1 fairly weak ability availible to him and a high level hero would have say 5 abilities availible from that spellbook. as this is the case they could be totally unrelated and i can just put them in different spellbooks. so just make whatever you feel like making and most importantly, be creative.

On the contrary, Limewire is not an illegal program.

It is an Open Source Peer-to-Peer file sharing program.

It's just like me asking you to use your photoshop, while I'm sitting in front of your computer. The owners of Limewire, and Limewire.org have been through multiple court cases, and have won every single one.

thats only because it was for commercial use. if we started to use the things we've downloaded to make money then it would be illigal. as it is we are not profiting in any way by using the software. so as it is, it's just as mindbomb says.
