Me whom you've helped at times of need.
Happiness and even sorrow we've forged.
Us the best of friends, we won't be here forever.
Each day of our lives is memorable.
The rising dawn, the setting dusk, the moonlit night.
We saw the good things that we wanted to make happen.
There are winners, and there will also be losers.
Where our conscience tumbles into chaos and failure
We can always make up for mistakes we've made.
Humans can only persist for long, sadly.
That includes you, me and family
