int/agi/str gain

i have a skill that is in my hero abilities that is agility gain +1 (theres the same thing for the other two but its the same problem for them) and for some reason, i use this and i get no point for said skill, why?

Could you give any more information? Such as which ability you used for your base ability, and what you did to it?

At worst, you could do it using triggers and a dummy ability. Have an ability that does nothing, then a trigger that upgrades the stat by 1 for each level of the ability.

i think i found it, its called item str/agi/int gain i think that might be it that its an item ability and it cant be used as a hero ability?

My suggestion is use Attribute Bonus as your base ability- it can be found under Neutral Hostile/Heroes. It should be easy enough to modify that. Item abilities don't show up like unit and hero abilities do.
