Let's put it this way: I'm not a fan of all that Web 2.0 social crap. I don't need yet another list containing a bunch of random people that I have to purge every so often. If vBulletin had an option to spare me messing with that "feature" altogether, it'd be really great. After all, one can disable visitor spam, why not "friend" spam?

You could just ignore friend requests, although it could get annoying.
