Just had a great idea. Opinions?

So ive been workin on a combat engine, where you have a mana bar instead of mana (similar to ff 13's) Then i started thinking, since Im already copying final fantasy 13, what if I had a stagger system. At first I was thinking of making another bar, then I realized: what if you used mana as "stamina"? When your mana runs out, basically, you have reduced armor/attack speed for 10 or so seconds, but are immune to having your mana drained in that time.


Also, you have a "combo-bar" that, when filled, gives you your ultimate for one use.

Opinions/suggestions?

I think DotA uses that for Ursa... I don't know if its the same concept, I haven't played DotA in a while.
