my model isn't working!

well i made a model in 3dsmax and it looks great i also made a skin for it. but the only problem is that the model i got takes ingame the color of the player so the model gets completly red or blue. anyone know how i fix this?

I do not know ANYTHING about modeling but I would think you would have to make areas where a different color can be imported...

You might want to double check the alpha maps on your skin since the alpha determines where the team color displays on the model.
