NewGen Map Wont Work On BNET

well i totally ruined my rpg i been working on for the last month, i imported to newgen editor and made it 480x480, but now when i try to test it on bnet it says game cannot be found.

i also tried this with a fresh map same thing, am i not allowed to use newgen maps online?

Go to World Editor Help Zone and find a thread started by X-maul that has the same problem, posted a guide over there if you still cannot understand it.

Don't give instructions like that to newbies, he is too new to know where stuff are on this forum, but you are not.

First, check if you have Jass Helper enabled.

Second, disable all triggers in your map

Third, save your map and WAIT, do not hurry as it will screw the process.

Fourth, press control f9 and see if it works.

i read newgen readme and it says your not allowed to use it for bnet its considered hacking and ileegal <_< great if i get banned from bnet im screwed, i only use newgen cause everyone says to use it, but now everyones advice is getting me in shit and only making my life a whole lot worse

Newgen is far more advanced than the regular editor.
If you can't use it, you'll fuck up.
That's all to it. Go and learn. And keep in mind to create backups.

Using newgen will not make you banned. Having Grimoire turned on while playing ladder might.

JASSHelper will compile all the 'advanced vJASS' features into regular JASS code anyhow.

jasshelper creates backups of your maps automatically, you claim to know how to read manuals, so you probably read jasshelper's manual already therefore you are already enjoying the restored copy of your map.

Please read this readme twice, you are not allowed to use grimoire on bnet and most likely you didn't use it. All vJass maps are perfectly usable in bnet, and no, if you get banned you are not screwed...

If you were making a rpg , and in the middle of development, without any backup made you suddenly felt an urge to make it a 480x480 map, maybe newgen made you a favor not letting you do such a giantic project that will never get finished (or even correctly started) .

well i did have backups but, i saved over them and all of them where corrupted the same as my main one <_<

i read the manual some more im begining to understand this, thanks for the input guys, im going to start with a small arena map instead, but using the same heroes, this way i can do live tests and balence the heroes before i put them into a big rpg project
