From what I can tell, a recent patch broke one of my abilities. It was quite awhile ago that I actually started having the problem, but I remember it working just fine and I don't remember making any changes to it. Not very helpful of me, I guess, but that's it.
The ability is a 500 range 'build' that creates an invisible nexus. Previously, it would work perfectly. It could be used in 'grey' fog of war, the kind that you can see through and order units to build on, even if it's out of their range. Now, I get a 'Could not find placement location.' warning whenever I try and place in grey fog, but it works in no fog. I really don't understand why. As well, it seems the AI are incapable of using the ability even with no fog.
