'player has left the game'

Hey,

I was wondering if it is possible to make triggers for a player who has left the game

example 1:

event: 'any player' leaves the game
condition: none
action: modify 'triggering player' set 'minerals' to '0'


example 2:

event: 'any player' leaves the game
condition: none
action: wait 10 'game seconds'
action: create 1 'ultralisk' for 'triggering player' at 'Dead Player Spawn'

Are these examples possible?

Yes. Triggering player refers to the player who triggers the trigger, so in the case of your "Any player leaves the game" it would refer to the player leaving.

  • Player - Modify player (Triggering player) Minerals: Set To 0
  • General - Wait 10.0 Game Time seconds

Just use the wc3 tags. Also there is currently a bug where if you edit your post, all the indents will be removed and of line in your trigger will be inline as what has happened in your post above.

Are you sure I can set the minerals of a player who just has left the game??

(same for creating an ultralisk?)

When a player leaves, nothing happens but the computer changes his state from "playing" to "has left". The stats and score for the player still remains as it was before he left.

A player slot, is only a slot for a person to control, if the player leaves it results in the same thing as if he goes AFK (if no triggers are involved ofc).
