I'm not too sure 'bout the system you used (Never used before). But apparently, it says that the limit of stackable items is based on the level of the item.

I figured that the most suitable way to define this limit would be the item level. By default the level can't go above 8, but you can bypass that by simply holding Shift when changing the level field.

I'm not sure. I never tried the system. Just read through how it works. Thats all. You can try yourself. Its pretty easy.
