You have to spread reputation around before giving that person more reputation, which is a good thing because some TH.net's members won't get any reputation if they're left unnoticed while others dominate with tutorials and funny comments.

May I ask something:
How many times do you have to spread REP to other people before giving it again to the same person?

I rep 'this person'.
Then I have to rep someone else X times before I can give REP to 'this person' again.
