Quest Mark + Unit

Hey guys!
I have a question about quest mark, how do i do so quest marks be on a unit.
I made a unit and changed it's model to a Quest Mark (!) but the quest giver unit has to attack some1 or move or something like that and the quest mark don't follow it's owner.
I've seen some maps that units walk with thair quest marks upon their heads, do any1 knows how to do that?

You can either have a trigger run periodically to add and remove the quest mark effect from the position of which the unit is standing.

Or, I believe, attach special effect to *unit*, then it will follow him around.

If that doesn't work either, you could create an ability that does nothing, and change it's buff so that it has an overhead attachment, using the quest mark effect.

i think its a special effect, under "extras", just attach it to the unit's " overhead" attachment point

i tried to attach it to its' overhead but it doesn't work!!
I use Armor bonus (+1) like in the guide but instad of a bloody sword, i use quest mark and i write "overhead" instead of "hand,left", then i put to a hero and it does nothing, i tried diffirent spell slots, like Defaul active ability and others, i tried to add it to a normal unit, i thought it doesn't work to a hero but it's not working... what do i do?

Try adding the effect every 0.1 second, and remove it, then.

cant do that, when a player takes a quest i want the quest mark to be changed in a question mark, but the question mark is circeling and if i add and remove it quickly it won't be circeling, it will look wierd.
And that would need alot of triggers, turn on triggers, turn off triggers....

did you try using, Special Effect - Create Special Effect Attached to Unit

It would only lag if he doesn't clean the leaks.

why don't you just attach the special effect to the overhead, then add last created special effect to special effect type variable? Then later on when the quest is completed just remove the special effect using that variable. It's really no extra triggering, just a couple of extra actions added to your quest triggers... well thats if this is even what you are trying to achieve. After reading your first post again im kind of confused.

! = exclamation mark
? = question mark

Also, do you mean exclamation mark as in a model (^which is what i was talking about above) or as in the exclamation mark in the bubble from the silence buff?

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
