Peanut Butter Cake

Peanut Butter lovers are going to love this rich and fluffy Peanut Butter Cake recipe!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 Tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large and 1 regular sized mixing bowls
  • 8-inch round cake pan
Directions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Grease and flour the cake pan
  • In a regular sized mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside
  • In the large mixing bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time
  • Stir in the vanilla extract
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes
  • Transfer cake to a wire rack to cool completely
  • Once cooled, you can frost with your favorite peanut butter frosting or serve as is

Recipe was kind of messed up calling for 1 mixing bowl when there should have been 2 so I fixed it.
