Peanut Butter Cake
Peanut Butter lovers are going to love this rich and fluffy Peanut Butter Cake recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 Tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large and 1 regular sized mixing bowls
- 8-inch round cake pan
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Grease and flour the cake pan
- In a regular sized mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside
- In the large mixing bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time
- Stir in the vanilla extract
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes
- Transfer cake to a wire rack to cool completely
- Once cooled, you can frost with your favorite peanut butter frosting or serve as is
