Sony's new Playstation 3 has recently been suffering from low sales, due in no small part to competition from Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's XBOX 360. In an effort to boost sales, Sony has come out with a bigger model of the PS3, as well as cut the price of the existing model by $100. The existing model has a memory capacity of 60 gigabytes, while the new model has an increased size of 80, however, it will cost $599. The now smaller 60 gigabyte version's price is down to $499.
