Stupid Attackers

I am ordering units to attack a point.
If the path to this point is blocked by a building then the attackers will run around in circles.

If the path is blocked by units then the attackers will attack the units like they should.

How do i get the buildings to not make the attackers act like retards?
Is it a game play constant?
Or something in object editor on the building?

the buildings are vulnerable and they can target and kill buildings

Maybe it is acquisition range of the attack unit?

uhmm.. If you just issue an "Move to" order they should move to the targeted location without noticing getting attacked, but if they are blocked they will lose their order.

might it be that other hostile units are around the buildings? because fighting units will always get higher priority over buildings no matter what you do. if there are towers for example build like a wall and behind is a single rifleman all enemys will always try to attack the rilfeman and never attack the towers even though they cannot reach the rilfeman.

thats the hardcoded wc3 unit AI.
