I'm trying to set up my microphone to allow voice chat in Left 4 Dead 2 but, for some reason, there is nothing but buzzing (both in-game, from what friends have told me, and with the Test Microphone feature). My mic seems to work fine on Ventrillo (again, going by what others have told me) and with Audacity recordings.
I tried speaking with Boost Microphone Gain enabled and disabled, but there doesn't seem to be any difference.
Is there any particular reason why this would happen, and any idea on how to fix it?
