Hey Guys,

When I start playing a movie like the one at the movie "The Prophecy" at the beginning of the tutorial, it seems to be very bright and it's difficult to watch. [Refer to attachment]. When I run a map or when I'm in the menus, the brightness is fine.

Just in case any of these details are important:
-- I'm running Windows 7 64 bi Home Premium
-- I have a 24" screen with a 16:9 ratio
-- I have 2x Gainwood GeForce GTX 460 1GB Goes Like Hell Editions

I can't take a screenshot because whenever I put the printscreen into paint, it appears normal.

Any ideas?

Cheers

One idea is to run it outside of warcraft, so open the .mpq files in the movies folder and run them via Windows Media Player (accepting everything that media player warns you about). If it's normal brightness there, then it's an in game problem and i would advise you to contact blizzard support. If it's still bright, then you're display settings are off somewhere, so try and see if there is a display setting that makes videos brighter.
