What is the meaning of failing models (even unimported)?

Hi there, in my map there are several imported models and just standard models that I'm using. Anyways, lately I have problems when I'm ingame, sometimes the portrait goes all black, or the image of the unit is changing every now and then (or just completely disappearing). It even happens with standard models that aren't imported in the first place...

Anyone knows of this problem, and a way to solve it? Let me know

Are you using -OpenGL mode?
This can sometimes cause the things you've listed.

Some models can cause bugs which can stuff up and mess around with nearby portraits and models. Is it doing this without Imported models? Like I mean make a map with just normal models and import no models at all. Tell me if it still bugs.

Oh mate, lol I owe you rep I removed the imported models from my import manager and now the game doesn't freeze anymore (my other prob.) and the models stay how they are. Thanks!
