Actually, it is. Don't make statements you cannot back up as being fact. We have the system and we're already talking about how to use it for contests. I'm probably going to be using it for the PC5.

Why don't you simply create a sticky to explain how the award system is going to work? I think it could keep some questions to be asked over and over again, and could orginize everyone's thoughts.

I have question as well. What will be the policy regarding contests requests. May members ask admins to create a contest? How detailed does the description need to be? Can we participate in an contest we offered? Etc.

And it really depends on the Admin you get to help you, I'd assume... If someone asks me for a contest with WC, I'll deny it completely and send them to Hulk or Ace instead. If someone asks them for a writer/poet contest, they'll probably deny it and send it to me or Conan.

I am going to keep it until the Spell Contest medal is issued - the first real award - this the helperest medal is just proof of concept.

Today at midnight (Theoretically yesterday), Thus it already ended about 19/20 hours ago, or in mine Time zone at least. But grading will take long, since Emj is only Judge, and triggers are long, and he has lots of things to check for.

Oh, okay. I was just curious if there was a reason you wanted a certain contest first or whatever... Perhaps to bug check it, things I would have to look for.

There is actually a mod made for vBulletin already. Easy to install, has a few icons already made.

Also, will users be able to ask a moderator to sponsor their contest?

Unfortunately, they can. That doesn't mean we have to, though and I strongly advise people to be VERY polite when asking us to sponsor anything, contest or otherwise.

Why would a Mod need Admin approval? You may need an admin to help you make the medal/award, but... You're mods. We can trust you. Kinda.
